Last updated: June 5, 2026. Tarto is a weight tracking and personal progress app. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Purpose of the service
Tarto helps users record daily weight measurements, follow progress toward a target weight and review past entries. Information in the app is provided for personal tracking and informational purposes only.
2. Not medical advice
Tarto does not provide medical advice. Health, diet, weight loss or weight gain decisions should be made with a doctor or dietitian. Charts, targets, BMI calculations and trend comments are not a substitute for professional health advice.
3. User responsibilities
- Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter.
- Users are responsible for keeping their account and email account secure.
- Users must use the app in compliance with applicable laws and these terms.
- Users must not misuse the app, reverse engineer it or attempt unauthorized access.
- Users should not rely only on app data for health-related decisions.
4. Account and session security
Some features may require a user account. Users are responsible for protecting account access and the security of their email account. If unauthorized access is suspected, users should contact support.
5. Tarto Pro and purchases
Tarto Pro may be offered through monthly, annual or lifetime products. Monthly and annual plans may renew automatically through Apple App Store. If a subscription is not cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, renewal may apply and the Apple ID account may be charged at the price shown by Apple. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Purchases, cancellation, refunds and subscription management are subject to Apple App Store rules.
Premium access is verified through RevenueCat. Users can restore purchases in the app and manage or cancel subscriptions from their App Store account settings. Prices, trials, taxes and regional availability may change through the App Store.
6. Optional cloud backup
If cloud backup is used, an internet connection and third-party service availability may be required. Backup and restore features are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free or immediate. Users are responsible for reviewing important entries.
7. Notifications
Tarto may send daily weighing reminders with the user’s permission. Notifications can be disabled or managed through iOS settings.
8. App changes
The developer may modify the app, add features or remove features. Functionality, design, technical infrastructure, pricing or supported platforms may change over time.
9. Account and data deletion
Account deletion and data deletion requests can be made from inside the app or by email. Account deletion is intended to remove cloud data associated with the user. Local data can be cleared from inside the app.
10. Intellectual property
The Tarto name, interface, visuals, text and app content belong to their respective owners. Unauthorized copying, distribution or commercial use of the app is prohibited.
11. Limitation of liability
The developer is not responsible for health decisions, data loss, purchase disputes, indirect damages or other losses arising from use of Tarto. The app is provided as is and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free or identical on every device.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will be published on this page. Continued use of the app means the current terms are accepted.
