Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Tarto: Daily Weight Tracker iOS app and the grookly.com website. Tarto does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or professional health advice. App data is used for personal tracking purposes.

• Email address, user identifier and session information if an account is created
• Height, starting weight, target weight, BMI and measurement unit preference, which may be considered health-related information
• Daily weight entries, entry date, time and optional notes added by the user
• Reminder time, reminder rules and app preferences
• Tarto Pro access, purchase/subscription status and restore information
• Profile and weight entries for optional cloud backup and restore
• Support message content if the user contacts us by email

Weight, height, BMI, goals and user notes may be sensitive personal information. Tarto does not use this information to build advertising profiles, perform third-party marketing or track users for advertising.

• To create accounts, manage sessions and support password reset flows
• To display weight entries, calculate goal progress and generate charts
• To provide history, calendar, insights, PDF reports and widgets
• To provide optional cloud backup and restore
• To reflect Tarto Pro purchase, restore and subscription management status in the app
• To run reminders according to user preferences

Tarto is designed around a device-focused daily tracking experience. Profile data, weight entries, target information, notes, language/unit preferences and some premium settings may be stored locally on the user’s device. Users can edit entries, delete entries or clear local data from inside the app.

If a user creates an account and uses backup or restore, profile and weight entries may be stored on Supabase infrastructure. Cloud backup is optional. For Tarto Pro users, automatic backup may create a secure backup snapshot after changes.

Tarto Pro purchases and subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store and RevenueCat. Tarto may process purchase status to verify premium access, restore purchases and show subscription management links. Payment details are not stored by Tarto.

• Apple App Store: in-app purchases, subscription management and billing

Daily reminder notifications are sent only with the user’s permission. Notification preferences can be changed in iOS settings or inside the app. Tarto does not use notifications for third-party advertising or marketing.

Tarto does not track users for advertising and does not sell user data. User data is not shared with third parties except where required by law, needed for security or necessary for service providers that help operate the app.

Users can delete their account and clear local data from inside the app. Account deletion is intended to remove cloud data associated with the user. Some records may remain for a limited time in backups or logs when required for technical, security or legal reasons.

Users may request access, correction, deletion or account closure. Requests can be sent through the app or by contacting support.

Tarto is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child’s information has been processed, please contact us.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When material changes are made, the policy page will be updated with a new date.
